While more widely known in the media for her roles as an actor, a vocalist and songwriter Alicia Witt has been performing music from the very beginning onscreen. After working mainly as piano player, she came out with an EP titled "Epilogue" in 2009 that showcased her clear debt to such artists as Elton John and Billy Joel as well as a confident, warm voice to match the music. Revisionary History was her first studio album. The album was co-produced by Ben Folds. The Conduit, her debut album with co-producers in 2021 was followed by Revisionary history. Alicia Witt was first seen on the screen in 1984 as a character in David Lynch's adaptation of Frank Herbert's Dune. Although she was not at the age of ten, it's not shocking that she ended up being called an actress and not the piano, though she's played piano, at the very least, for as long she has been on screen. Though she appeared more on screen but her profession as a musician didn't begin until 1995.
